Where can I buy products?

Ghilli Bars have recently become available for purchase in this webshop. There will be a pop-up sale in Zurich-Seefeld at the beginning of December. More information will follow shortly.

Where can I smell Ghilli Bars?

In December there will be a pop-up shop in Züri/ch-Seefeld where our bars will be available for sale. Here you have the opportunity to experience and test the different scents from Ghilli.

Are your products biodegradable?

Yes, Ghilli Bars are biodegradable and therefore more environmentally friendly than traditional shampoos. There is also 0% plastic in the product and its packaging, including no microplastics. Instead of plastic bottles, the Ghilli Bars are packaged in recyclable cardboard.

What is the difference between your solid shampoos and body bars compared to other solid shampoos or body soaps?

In contrast to many conventional solid soaps, Ghilli Bars are not "soaps" in the technical sense, but rather concentrated shampoos or shower gels. Therefore, they do not leave any “rough” feelings after washing your hair or showering. Ghilli Bars ensure soft skin and a pleasant hair feeling, similar to high-quality shampoos or shower gels, but completely without plastic. In addition, Ghilli Bars consist of over 94% natural ingredients compared to conventional products and are biodegradable. Also unique are the authentic scents of the bars, which match the different Mediterranean beaches for which the bars were designed. Finally, it should be mentioned that Ghilli is designed in Switzerland and produced by small manufacturers in Provence. The ceramics are made by hand in Zurich.

Are your shampoos tested on animals?

No.

What do I do with the packaging?

The packaging is completely plastic-free and can be used as a temporary transport solution for travel (it also lasts a few days to transport wet bars). The box is recycled with old cardboard.

Who is behind Ghilli?

Ghilli was founded in 2022 with the idea of ​​making plastic-free shampoo accessible to a wider group of people who value quality and design in addition to environmental issues. The company was founded by Alessia, Michelle and Daniela, three Zurich women with a passion for design and the Mediterranean.

Are your products natural?

Yes, mostly. Over 94% of the ingredients in our bars come from natural sources.

Do your shampoos contain silicone or sulfates?

No, of course not.

Are your products vegan?

Yes, 100%.

Are your products really plastic-free?

Yes, 100%, and there are no microplastics either.

USE

How long do your shampoos last?

Conservatively estimated, our shampoos last about as long as two bottles of conventional shampoo. However, initial tests have shown that they can last up to 60 washes.

Do your shampoos form foam?

Yes, they create plenty of foam. It is important to note that it may take a little longer because the ingredients do not yet contain water and it needs to be added during use. Massage the bar well into your hair with water and a little pressure (with direct contact between the bar and hair).

Which conditioner do you recommend?

We recommend continuing your current care routine and using the conditioner you already use. Ghilli solid conditioners will be available from January.

DELIVERY

How long does the delivery take? We pack the bars by hand in Zurich. After ordering, the bars should arrive in your mailbox within 4 working days at the latest. What should I do if a product arrives damaged? In this case, please contact hello@ghilli.ch including a photo.
